Public housing is available for those who are most in need. It is therefore important to set out appropriate eligibility criteria to determine your level of need.
To be eligible for remote housing you must be able to provide information on a range of criteria based on household income, assets, property ownership, residency, debt to Territory Housing and your age. Eligibility is assessed at the time of application and again prior to allocation of public housing.
You must be 16 or older to enter a tenancy agreement, and therefore to apply for remote housing.
