The Poster and Radio Ads
The Poster
Distributed throughout the Territory, the 1800 promotional poster was designed in collaboration with Biliru Designs. The design features elements from the top end and central styles of Aboriginal Art. An explantation and a pdf version of the poster can be viewed here.
The Radio Ad
Introducing the 1800 number, the Radio Ad was translated into a number of indigenous languages, it received air time in radio stations across the Northern Territory. The english text is as follows;
"The Australian Government and Northern Territory Government are working together to make houses in communities healthier and safer. There will be some changes to the way houses in your community are looked after. There will also be benefits such as more local jobs for local people, more support services for tenants and a chance to have a bigger say about housing in your community. To find out more call 1800 104 076. The number you need to know for your community housing needs."
