A tenant may apply, in writing, to conduct a business from home. Consent will be conditional on Planning Authority approval, if required, and consideration of the impact of the operation on the rented property and surrounding neighbourhood.
Where Territory Housing consents to the conduct of the business, the tenant will be advised in writing. The tenant will then supply Planning Authority approval, public liability insurance and any other approvals required.
Territory Housing reserves the right to reassess the situation at any time and may revoke the approval if the activity leads to complaints.
